The Kubey KB Pioneer KB379C is a darker, more technical version of Evgeniy Bulychev’s folding knife design. The blade, made of 20CV steel, and the titanium handle are finished with a black DLC coating, while the Contoured Wave Milling pattern gives the design a distinctive, three-dimensional texture.
The 85.00 mm Drop Point blade features a flat grind and a black DLC finish. The knife opens manually using the front flipper or ambidextrous thumb studs, and once open, the blade is secured by a Frame Lock.
20CV, 60–62 HRC, and vacuum-cryogenic treatment
The blade is made of 20CV steel and hardened to 60–62 HRC. Vacuum hardening combined with cryogenic treatment promotes high hardness, wear resistance, and stable material properties during long-term use.
