The Microtech Amphibian Mini RAM-LOK 137MRL-10MS1 is a compact folding knife designed by Tony Marfione, featuring a M390MK steel blade and a titanium Slab Side handle. The design incorporates a RAM-LOK lock, ball bearings, and thumb studs on both sides.
The 82.55 mm blade features a Clip Point profile, a hollow grind, and a stonewashed finish. The gray titanium Slab Side handle, with its simpler, flatter surfaces, is complemented by a brown titanium backspacer.
M390MK – Steel for Demanding EDC
M390MK steel was developed for Microtech in collaboration with Böhler. It combines high abrasion resistance with very good corrosion resistance, while maintaining performance characteristics suitable for modern folding knives.
Clip Point, Hollow, and Stonewashed
The Clip Point profile provides a distinct tip and versatile geometry. The hollow grind supports effective cutting, and the stonewashed finish effectively masks minor signs of wear.
Slab Side Titanium and RAM-LOK
The handle is made of titanium with a gray Slab Side finish. The brown titanium backspacer provides a contrasting detail and emphasizes the character of the Marfione Select version.
The pivot operates on ball bearings, and RAM-LOK locks the blade in place when open. Thumb studs on both sides allow for manual opening, and the titanium clip can be moved to the right or left side.
