76,95 €Kizer Wharning Blue-Purple Vortex Micarta, Satin N690 by Johan Jordaan – a precision Wharncliffe for EDC
The Kizer Wharning V3738BW2 combines the functional geometry of a Wharncliffe with a more distinctive handle made of Blue-Purple Vortex Micarta. The satin-finished N690 steel blade gives the design a classic look, while the color scheme of the grips adds a more personal touch.
The knife features a Kizer Button Liner Lock™, a thumb stud, and Ball bearings. The front choil, ergonomic finger groove, and jimping ensure a stable grip and precise blade control during everyday tasks.
N690 – Proven Utility Steel
N690 is a stainless steel well-suited for an everyday carry (EDC) knife. It combines corrosion resistance, good edge retention, and easier sharpening than many more demanding high-alloy steels.
Wharncliffe – pressure applied along a straight edge
The straight edge characteristic of the Wharncliffe profile promotes even contact with the material. This facilitates precise cutting, scoring, and controlled blade guidance.
Satin Finish
The blade has been finished using the Satin method, which highlights the grind line and gives the surface a clean, classic look. The light-colored blade contrasts with the blue-purple handle.
Blue-Purple Vortex Micarta
The handle is made of Vortex Pattern Micarta in Blue & Purple. The layered material creates a distinctive pattern, and its texture ensures a secure grip even during extended use.
Button Liner Lock and Comfortable Operation
The Kizer Button Liner Lock™ combines a classic liner lock with a push-button release. The mechanism allows for smooth opening and closing of the knife, while keeping your fingers out of the blade’s path.
Thumb Stud and Ball Bearing
The Thumb Stud enables quick one-handed opening, while the ball bearings support smooth blade movement. Together, they create a simple and comfortable operating system suitable for frequent EDC use.
Why Choose the Kizer Wharning V3738BW2?
This version is for users who want to combine the practical Wharncliffe geometry with a more decorative handle material. N690, Satin, and Vortex Micarta create a well-balanced everyday carry knife.
