0,00 €Kizer Pokiman BLL Black Burlap Micarta, Gray PVD AEB-L – Sheepsfoot with Button Liner Lock™
The Kizer Pokiman BLL V3789BSA1 is a more subdued variant of the series, combining an AEB-L steel Sheepsfoot blade with a gray PVD coating and a black Burlap Micarta handle. A purple/blue thumb stud adds a pop of color, while mechanically, the knife features Kizer’s Button Liner Lock™ and ball bearings.
The Sheepsfoot profile and finger choil facilitate controlled, precise cuts, and the textured Micarta provides a more natural feel in the hand than smooth aluminum or PEI. The design remains compact and lightweight, weighing 87 g with a blade length of 79.64 mm.
AEB-L – Durable Steel for EDC
AEB-L steel has been hardened to 60 ±2 HRC, ensuring good edge retention while maintaining high resistance to chipping and relatively easy sharpening. Its corrosion resistance further supports its use in a knife intended for everyday carry.
Sheepsfoot – Geometry Designed for Control
Sheepsfoot features a straight cutting edge and a sloping spine, which helps control the blade’s guidance during practical tasks. This profile works well for cutting cardboard, tape, string, or plastics, especially when an aggressive tip isn’t needed.
Gray PVD coating
The blade is coated with a gray PVD coating. The matte, subdued color scheme complements the black Micarta well and creates a more subdued look than the classic satin finish. The dark blade is paired with black spacer rings.
Black Burlap Micarta
The handle is made of black Burlap Micarta, whose fibrous structure gives the surface a distinctive look and texture. The material provides a comfortable, natural feel in the hand and is well-suited for knives intended for regular use.
Button Liner Lock™ and Colored Thumb Stud
The Kizer Button Liner Lock™ allows the lock to be released by pressing a button, without having to slide the liner directly with your finger. The blade is opened using a purple/blue thumb stud, which provides a striking accent against the dark frame.
Deep Carry, Jimping, and Lanyard Hole
The reversible Deep Carry clip allows you to carry the knife deep in your pocket. Jimping on the spine and a finger choil improve control over the blade, while the lanyard hole provides an alternative way to secure or personalize the folder.
Why Choose the Kizer Pokiman BLL V3789BSA1?
This is the model for those who prefer a dark, utilitarian design and Micarta handles. The sheepsfoot blade, AEB-L steel, Gray PVD finish, and Button Liner Lock™ combine to create a cohesive EDC folder focused on cutting control and comfortable handling.

Frequently Asked Questions
What makes Burlap Micarta unique?
Burlap Micarta uses a material with a more visible, fibrous structure. It gives the handle a distinctive look and a pleasant, tactile texture.
How does the Button Liner Lock™ work?
The button releases the liner lock, so you don’t have to push the liner back with your finger. This makes one-handed operation easier.
Is the Sheepsfoot suitable for EDC?
Yes. The profile works well for opening packages, cutting cardboard, and other tasks that require good edge control.
Is the gray PVD coating the same as stonewashed?
No. Gray PVD Coating is a coating applied to the blade’s surface, whereas “stonewashed” refers to a mechanical surface finish.
Can the clip be repositioned?
Yes. The Deep Carry Reversible allows you to adjust the clip’s position to your preference.
