Exocet II 1157-10OD features an OD Green handle made of 6061-T6 aluminum paired with a double-edged D/E blade made of Böhler M390MK steel. The blade surface has a stonewashed finish, giving the knife a rugged, practical look and allowing it to withstand minor signs of everyday wear and tear. The Dual-Fuel Drive Train™ system ensures the smooth and rapid operation of the OTF D/A automatic mechanism.
The Exocet II stands out with its exceptionally short handle and wide titanium clip, which can also function as a money clip. Despite its miniature size, the knife offers full automatic operation via the Thumb Slide. The symmetrical Double Edge blade features two cutting edges and a centrally positioned tip.
Böhler M390MK in a Double Edge configuration
M390MK steel was developed specifically for Microtech as a variant of the M390 optimized to meet the brand’s requirements. Its high corrosion resistance and good edge retention make it ideal for an everyday carry knife. The D/E profile provides two cutting edges, increasing the effective cutting surface of the short blade.
Stonewashed finish for regular use
The blade features a stonewashed finish, whose matte and irregular texture minimizes the visibility of minor scratches. Combined with the OD Green outdoor handle, it creates a subdued configuration geared more toward practical use than decorative shine.
D/A Mechanism with Dual-Fuel Drive Train™
The Dual-Fuel Drive Train™ is responsible for automatically moving the blade in both directions. The thumb slider extends the blade when pushed forward and retracts it when moved backward. The Slide Lock works in conjunction with the OTF mechanism to stabilize the blade in the correct position.
Compact Aluminum Construction
The handle, made of 6061-T6 aluminum, reduces the knife’s weight while maintaining the rigidity of the mechanism housing. The wide titanium clip allows you to carry the Exocet II on your right side in a tip-down configuration and can also serve as a money clip.
Why Choose the Exocet II 1157-10OD?
Stonewashed and OD Green create the most practical-looking configuration among the D/E variants in this series. The model retains high-grade M390MK steel, full D/A automatic functionality, and compact dimensions, making it a great choice as an unconventional everyday carry knife.
