361,59 €Microtech Exocet II D/E OD Green Aluminum, Apocalyptic M390MK by Tony Marfione – compact OTF D/A
Exocet II 1157-10APOD combines a symmetrical Double Edge blade made of Böhler M390MK steel with an Apocalyptic finish and a 6061-T6 aluminum handle in OD Green. This compact OTF knife is equipped with the Dual-Fuel Drive Train™ system, a Thumb Slide, and a wide titanium clip that can also function as a money clip.
The Apocalyptic finish gives the blade a distinctive, intentionally aged surface that complements the handle’s camouflage color scheme. The Exocet II’s compact size makes it easy to carry daily, and its double-edged D/E geometry allows for the use of two cutting edges. The D/A mechanism enables both opening and closing the knife with a single slide of the thumb slide.
M390MK and double-edged D/E profile
Böhler M390MK provides high corrosion resistance and good cutting edge durability. In this variant, the steel has been formed into a symmetrical Double Edge / D/E blade, equipped with two usable cutting edges. This geometry maintains a centrally located tip and allows the knife to be used on both sides of the blade.
Apocalyptic Finish
Apocalyptic is a Microtech-exclusive finish with a deliberately irregular, rugged appearance. The surface is not uniformly polished, making minor signs of wear less visible. Combined with the OD Green handle, it creates a subdued configuration inspired by outdoor aesthetics.
Dual-Fuel Drive Train™ and Slide Lock
The Dual-Fuel Drive Train™ is responsible for the blade’s operation. A slide on the handle activates automatic blade extension and retraction, while the Slide Lock system secures the blade in the open position. The D/A mechanism allows for a full one-handed operation cycle without manually moving the blade.
OD Green 6061-T6 Aluminum and Titanium Clip
The handle, made of 6061-T6 aluminum, ensures low weight and structural rigidity. The OD Green color emphasizes the model’s utilitarian character. A wide titanium clip allows the knife to be carried in a right-hand, tip-down configuration and can be used to securely hold banknotes.
Why Choose the Exocet II 1157-10APOD?
This is the variant for users who prefer the classic D/E symmetry typical of OTFs, but in a very compact design. The Apocalyptic finish effectively masks everyday wear and tear, while the M390MK blade, aluminum handle, and modern Microtech mechanism create a functional set for everyday carry.

D/E stands for Double Edge, meaning a blade with two sharpened edges. The symmetrical geometry results in a centrally located tip.
What is the Apocalyptic finish?
It is a surface finish characteristic of Microtech, featuring a deliberately aged, uneven texture. It helps visually mask minor signs of everyday use.
Does the Exocet II open and close automatically?
Yes. The D/A OTF design allows you to both extend and retract the blade using the Thumb Slide.
What is the wide clip used for?
