Vortex Gas Piston® is a patented, innovative gas spring technology designed for spring-powered air rifles. Utilizing compressed air to drive the piston. It ensures quieer and smoother operation while reducing recoil by eliminating most of the vibrations caused by heavy metal springs. This system provides higher velocities and improved accuracy by maintaining consistent technical parameters throughout its lifespan, thereby increasing the durability of the pneumatic system compared to traditional piston systems with metal springs, which tend to weaken over time, leading to a decrease in velocity. Additionally, there is no risk of spring fatigue or breakage. Additionally, air pistols and air rifles with a Vortex Gas Piston can remain cocked for extended periods without the risk of spring stress or damage to the airgun.

Vortex TYPE 2 ST, the kit allows you to replace the classic Hatsan spring air rifles with a modern gas spring, with 17 J in accordance with Polish law. The Hatsan company has made it possible to upgrade the previously purchased airguns by replacing the metal main spring with a modern gas one.

Innovation of Vortex® Gas Piston technology enables:

• exchange of a metal main spring for gas in most Hatsan airguns
• the possibility of smooth tuning, the spring has a hole that allows it to be pumped up (max 150 bar) by means of a cylinder or PCP pump in the range from 7J, above 17J, to the maximum energy for a given model of a air rifles.
• the use of compressed air for the drive, not like in the springs of other producers of noble gases (which increases the price of the spring, prevents its smooth tuning).
