Hatsan AT44S-10 is a multi-shot PCP air rifle designed for recreational and competitive target shooting. The design is available in 4.5 mm, 5.5 mm and 6.35 mm calibres, while the variant presented here has a calibre of 4.5 mm (.177) and muzzle energy of up to 17 J.
The air rifle combines a side lever, a choked rifled barrel, an ambidextrous polymer stock and an adjustable Quattro Trigger unit. It fires lead pellets one at a time, while the rotary magazine allows the next shot to be prepared quickly.
Side-lever cocking
After each shot, the air rifle is cocked manually using the side lever. This solution allows the mechanism to be operated without breaking the barrel and makes it easier to maintain your shooting position. The Anti-Double Pellet Feed system prevents more than one pellet from being loaded into the barrel. The air rifle operates in single-shot mode, so each pull of the trigger corresponds to one shot.
Choked rifled barrel
The steel barrel features precision rifling and a choke, which is a constriction at the muzzle that helps guide the pellet consistently. Its end features a 1/2" UNF external thread and a protective nut. The thread allows the attachment of a compatible silencer (moderator), compensator or separator. This enables you to adapt the muzzle configuration to your needs and compatible accessories.
PCP power and detachable air cylinder
The PCP system uses compressed air stored in a detachable 180 cc steel air cylinder filled to a pressure of 200 BAR. The built-in pressure gauge allows you to monitor the pressure remaining in the cylinder. The included quick-fill connector makes it easier to connect a compressed-air source, while the air discharge device allows the cylinder to be depressurised. The patented Anti-Knock System limits uncontrolled gas loss caused by an impact or jolt to the air rifle.
Ambidextrous polymer stock
The ergonomic polymer stock is suitable for right- and left-handed users. The Monte Carlo buttstock features a contoured cheek piece that helps ensure a consistent shooting position. The rubber butt pad can be adjusted for height and angle. The fitted sling swivels allow a carrying sling to be attached.
Scope mounting and TruGlo sights
The air rifle receiver features a rail suitable for 11 mm and 22 mm scope mounts. An additional Picatinny rail is located under the fore-end for attaching compatible accessories. The air rifle is also equipped with an adjustable TruGlo front and rear sight. The fibre-optic inserts provide a high-contrast sight picture when aiming.
Magazines, trigger and safety features
The 4.5 mm variant uses a detachable rotary magazine holding 10 pellets, and a second magazine is also included. The two-stage Quattro Trigger unit allows the trigger travel and pull weight to be adjusted. The metal trigger blade is gold-plated and protected by a metal trigger guard. A manual and automatic safety protect against accidental discharge.
