Talon Infinity 40 cm Disc Loc Button, Foam Grip (T40-BF) is an innovative, hardened steel expandable baton with a length of 40 cm / 16", equipped with the Disc Loc locking system. The model is manufactured by the American company ASP. The baton is coated with a durable Black Chrome finish. The Foam Grip handle provides a secure hold, while the Button Release allows the baton to be collapsed quickly and conveniently. Armament Systems and Procedures Inc. Talon - sets new standards in expandable baton technology. A classic baton with the Friction Loc system is opened with a forceful wrist movement. The Talon baton can be deployed in two ways: traditionally, with a swing, or discreetly — by pulling the tip of the baton. The second method is especially useful in situations where discretion is important, as deployment takes place without the characteristic noise. It is also useful when conditions do not allow for a full swing, for example in a crowd or in confined spaces. The Talon baton can be closed with one hand. Simply release the Disc Loc mechanism by pressing the Button Release located at the end of the handle, then rest the tip of the baton against a stable surface and collapse it.

Black Chrome - a very hard coating with high abrasion resistance, applied to steel in a process similar to electroplating. The Black Chrome finish provides a deep black color, does not flake or chip, and increases the corrosion protection of the steel components.

Steel - the baton components are made from seamless, cold-drawn tubes of AISI/SAE 4140 alloy steel, containing chromium and molybdenum. The material has been hardened to a hardness above 49 HRC, providing high resistance to deformation during intensive use. The steel is characterized by high resistance to mechanical stress, bending, and impact, as well as a tensile strength of 150,000 PSI and a yield strength of 120,000 PSI.

Handle - Foam Grip made of soft, flexible vinyl foam. It provides shock absorption during impact and a secure grip during use.
