31,36 €OKS07 is a modern, durable liquid cold bluing solution designed for touch-up restoration of worn or damaged firearm components, as well as other parts made of steel and cast iron. The formula produces an attractive matte black finish that enhances the appearance of the surface while also supporting corrosion resistance.
Developed by the Polish company KTJ, this metal blackening system allows the bluing process to be carried out without the need for expensive equipment or high temperatures. As a result, users can conveniently blacken steel or cast iron on their own while maintaining a high level of control over the final finish.
The blued coating created with OKS07 provides both decorative and anti-corrosion benefits, while also helping reduce light glare on barrels and other steel parts. Because the coating is extremely thin, the blackening process does not significantly affect the dimensions of the treated part and also protects gaps, threads, and blind holes effectively.
Application – the product performs best on a properly prepared, clean, and degreased metal surface. When necessary, old coatings, rust, and other contaminants should be removed before bluing. For a deeper black tone, the process may be repeated several times.
