Satre Expeditons Dark Stone, a lightweight and extremely durable compact fixed blade knife made with a scabbard suitable for hanging around the neck, on a vest or optionally on a belt. The goal was to create a handy but reliable knife with low weight for any outdoor use, such as survival, bushcraft or as a piece of EDC equipment. Collaboration with Daniele Dal Canto, a professional instructor of survival techniques with the title of Master Advancet in F.I.S.S.S. (Italian Federation of Sports and Experimental Survival) resulted in a perfectly designed and crafted handy outdoor knife.

Despite its compact size, it fits securely in the hand and enables effective deep cuts. The arched undercut, on the back of the blade ramp / spine is designed to make it easy to rest your thumb or index finger according to your preferred working technique. A tool for the professional and beyond.

N690 - corrosion-resistant, high-carbon 1.07% (C), martensitic chromium steel 17.30% (Cr) with the addition of molybdenum 1.10% (Mo), vanadium 0.10% (V) and cobalt 1.50% (Co) for structural uniformity. Features exceptionally high corrosion resistance and long edge retention. One of the best tool steels in the world today. Achieves a hardness of 58 HRC. Manufactured by Böhler Edelstahl in Kapfenberg, Austria.

Blade - sharp and solid with a thickness of 5 mm. Drop point with cutting edge for extreme cutting performance. The blade was derived smooth plain blade grind (Flat grind). For additional protection against corrosion, the steel is covered with a chemically polished, non-reflective MIL-C-13924 BURNISHING coating and a stone washed surface treatment - Dark Stone finish.

Handle - ergonomic, made of Austrian Böhler-Uddeholm's N690 stainless steel. The profiled shape of the handle prevents accidental injury during use. Enlarged hole (lanyard hole) for pulling a lanyard or cord.

Sheath - made of Kydex plastic, allows quick retrieval of the knife in any situation. Included paracord rope for hanging the knife case around the neck. The holster can also be attached under the straps of the M.O.L.L.E. system: to a tactical vest or any Extrema Ratio nylon holster. In addition, in combination with optional accessories, it can be attached to a belt. Additional kydex for a flint (included).
