Snecx Tan - considered the most mechanically innovative knife designer in the world Malaysian knifemaker and designer famous for his unique custom knives from Snecx Design Lab. Snecx Design Lab was established in 2015 to create the IFS-20 concept boltless knife, which made Snecx Tan a legend in the knife world.

CPM 20CV - one of the best tool steels, a premium American martensitic stainless steel. Produced by US Crucible Industries using the particle metallurgy / Crucible® Particle Metallurgy (CPM) method. The CPM process creates a very homogeneous, high-quality steel with excellent dimensional stability, grindability and ductility compared to steels produced by conventional methods. Designed to provide better wear resistance while maintaining corrosion resistance at the highest level. This super steel is comparable to Bohler's M390 steel or Carpenter's CTS-204P. According to some knife manufacturers, 20CV is the best of these three steels in terms of edge retention. It consists of 19.0% carbon (C), 20.0% chromium (Cr), 4.0% vanadium (V), 1.0% molybdenum (Mo) and 0.6% tungsten (W). The high percentage of chromium with a touch of molybdenum makes 20CV one of the best high-end corrosion-resistant steels.

SuperLock - an innovative blade locking system, a design by respected knifemaker and designer, Snecx Tan. The two-way lock secures the blade in the open position. The knife is locked by sliding the backspacer backwards, which eliminates accidental unlocking of the blade. Extremely easy disassembly allows access to the knife mechanism for cleaning or maintenance.

Blade - Reverse Tanto type finished with a scratch-masking Silver Bead Blasted finish. It is opened by means of an elongated hole in the blade (Thumb Hole), so it can be easily used by right and left-handed people. Ceramic ball bearings are responsible for the smooth operation of the opening mechanism. The small thickness of the wedge, combined with a high, flat grind (Flat Grind), gives excellent cutting edge geometry and extreme cutting performance. The entire blade is locked with Snecx's proprietary Superlock lock.

Handle - is thick pieces of heat-dyed 6AL4V titanium in a Tiger Stripes pattern, joined together by spacer sleeves. The simplicity and robustness of the design give confidence in many years of use. The handle has been relieved by a series of holes in the center of the facings. The two-position clip (top), made of titanium, allows the knife to be carried in tip-up position. Attention is drawn to its unusual placement, on top of the knife, rather than on the side as usual. The solution is surprisingly convenient, allowing you to carry the knife on both the left and right side without using additional holes and rearranging the clip. In the back there is a hole for threading a safety or decorative cord. As in other models, the pivot is decorated with a stylized logo of the manufacturer.

Case - included zippered soft nylon case with the manufacturer's logo for safe storage and transportation of the folder.
