14C28N - martensitic chromium stainless steel is the latest development in the range of knife steels produced by Swedish Sandvik steel mills. An optimized chemical composition with a unique combination provides superior quality, excellent edge performance, high hardness and corrosion resistance. By reducing the amount of carbon 0.62% (C) and increasing the chromium content 14.0% (Cr), as well as adding nitrogen 0.11% (N), corrosion resistance has been significantly improved. Considered an improved version of 13C26 steel. Unbeatable in the price / quality category!

Blade - wide, Spear Point type finished masking scratches by Stonewashed method and then coated with black coating. The generous belly extends the length of the cutting edge in relation to the length of the blade converging towards the needle-sharp tip of the knife. The thickness of the blade provides high strength while the high, flat grind gives excellent cutting edge geometry and extreme cutting performance. Large grain grooves further improve the Blade's rigidity, gently relieving pressure on the blade. Ball bearings support the opening of the blade with a quick index-finger flipper when opened acting as the hilt. A section of the blade's back is covered with the upper jimping, a notched thumb rest for easy control of the knife. The whole thing is locked with the proven and popular liner lock.

Handle - grips made of G10, a plastic that is insensitive to weather conditions, resistant to chemicals and mechanical damage Chamfered edges of the covers eliminate sharp edges and textured surfaces improve grip security. The solid backspacer to which the grips are attached guarantees the rigidity and strength of the entire structure.
