MOD 135 VORTEX with a gas spring guarantees quiet operation of the windcheater, less recoil, repeatability of each shot, no wear of the gas spring during its lifetime. The gas spring allows the windcheater to be more accurate at a much higher exit velocity and obtains higher shot energy also at long distances.
Gas spring system used Vortex® Gas Piston also provides the opportunity to smooth tuning of the windcheater. The gas spring is provided with a hole that allows, with the help of a pump for PCP air rifles, to inflate the spring in the range from 17J to the maximum energy possible with a classic metal spring in the selected model of the spring-loaded air rifle (max 150 bar).
