Outdoor knife of full tang construction with Blade made of D2 tool steel, aimed at enthusiasts of survival, hunting, lovers of any other outdoor activity.
D2 - high-carbon, high-chromium high-speed tool steel heat-treated to 58-60 HRC. With a high chromium content of 13.0% (Cr), it offers greater corrosion resistance than most high-carbon steels. Combines strength, excellent edge holding and easy sharpening. Features high wear resistance due to high carbide content in the microstructure.
Blade - extremely sharp with Wharncliffe profile, the geometric shape is ideal for all kinds of work. Finished with an elegant satin finish, the Plain blade is derived with a high Flat Grind, the high grind gives excellent cutting edge geometry and extreme cutting performance. The extended "chin" protects the hand from slipping on the blade.
Handle - covered with durable G10 (fiberglass compressed with synthetic resin) grips in black, with a slightly rough surface. They provide excellent ergonomics and a secure grip. The symmetrical design of the Handle allows the knife to be held both ways, especially for users who appreciate an inverted grip. Two Handle ends included, one with a hole for a rope, the other without.
Sheath - extended, protecting the Blade along with part of the Handle, made of Kydex plastic. Attaching to the belt with a Tek-Lok type handle, allows the knife to be carried in an upright position.
