D2 - high-carbon, high-chromium high-speed tool steel heat-treated to 58-60 HRC. With a high chromium content of 13.0% (Cr), it offers greater corrosion resistance than most high-carbon steels. Combines strength, excellent edge holding and easy sharpening. Features high wear resistance due to high carbide content in the microstructure.
Blade - extremely sharp with Drop Point profile, with marked belly, ideal for all kinds of work. Finished with an elegant satin finish, the Plain blade is derived with a high Flat Grind, the high grind gives excellent cutting edge geometry and extreme cutting performance. The enlarged hilt protects the hand from slipping on the blade.
Handle - covered with durable G10 (fiberglass pressed with synthetic resin) grips in black, with a slightly rough surface. They provide excellent ergonomics and a secure grip. The symmetrical design of the Handle allows the knife to be held both ways, especially for users who appreciate an inverted grip. A series of holes not only visually gives lightness to the Handle, but also subtracts the real weight of the knife.
Sheath - an extended sheath that protects the Blade along with part of the Handle, made of Kydex plastic. Attaching to the belt by means of a Tek-Lok handle, allows the knife to be carried in an upright position.
