The white and blue armor of the Stormtroopers of the Old Republic is recognizable throughout the known galaxy. The primary weapon is the blaster, while hiding under the armor is the UTX-85 S/E Clone Trooper Signature Blue/White Aluminum, White from the Signature Series line. It's an OTF (Out The Front) automatic knife from the UTX-85 series, and it works in D/A mode with a hell of a fast blade extension mechanism. 100% made and assembled in the USA. 

UTX-85 Line - 85% the size of the Ultratech®, the UTX-85® is designed to fit perfectly in the hand, making it an excellent choice for everyday carry. The release mechanism is easier to operate than the full-size Ultratech® and is ideal for smaller or sensitive hands. The UTX-85® still has a fully functional glass breaker and all the features of the full-size Ultratech®.

Signature Series - Microtech's elite line of products designed for buyers who are looking for a more exclusive touch to the much-loved Core Series production models (claw logo on the knife). Top-quality materials and finishes are often used in the production of Signature Series knives. The line also includes themed knives such as Bounty Hunter, Memento Mori and Molon Labe. A distinctive feature is the dagger logo marking on the Handle and Anthony Marfione's signature on the clip.

M390 Microclean® - a martensitic high-performance chrome steel produced by powder metallurgy. Due to its alloy concept, it has extremely high wear resistance and high corrosion resistance. Due to its high wear resistance, it adequately maintains the shape of the edge, so the blade stays sharp for a very long time (requiring minimal maintenance). Another of the advantages is resistance to the formation of "wire" during sharpening. The steel has a high chromium content of 20.0% (Cr) doped with 1.9% carbon (C), vanadium 4.0% (V), and is hardened between 59-61 HRC. This super steel is comparable to Carpenter's CPM 20CV or CTS-204P steels. Manufactured by Böhler Edelstahl in Kapfenberg, Austria.

Cerakote™ - a ceramic-based finish that can be applied to metals to improve a range of physical properties, including abrasion/wear and corrosion resistance. Thin-film non-reflective, low-friction matte protective coating that is heat, chemical and impact resistant. Provides durability and hardness.

Blade - machine ground S/E (Single Edge Drop Point) type, sharpened on one side. Coated with white Cerakote™, characteristic of the Clone Trooper series, with a blue accent on the grain. The blade is derived with a high Flat Grind for excellent cutting properties. This gives the knife excellent piercing properties while maintaining its strength. The strong mechanism of extending/retracting the blade with the help of the moled Thumb Slide, a stepped thumb slide, requires for safety the application of a specific force to overcome the resistance of the spring. The method of opening provides seamless opening for both right and left-handed people.

Handle - made with perfect precision in 3D technology on CNC milling machines, from white anodized 6061-T6 aluminum with blue accents. Decorated with an engraved crest of the Old Republic. There are notches (jimping) on the back and bottom of the Handle for a more secure grip. Bolts, slide and glass striker in black, contrasting with the white Handle. The slim profile and milled two-position (right/left) solid deep-carry clip allow the knife to be carried discreetly in a pocket, in tip-down (blade tip down) position. The clip bears the Microtech logo, the Old Republic crest, serial number and production date. The Handle is finished with a glass striker, a solid steel triangle into which a tungsten carbide ball has been pressed. There is also a hole for interweaving a decorative cord.
