420H - a high-carbon martensitic stainless steel with an increased carbon (C) content of 0.17% to 0.23%, also containing chromium (Cr) and molybdenum (Mo) offers high hardenability in the 54-58 HRC range, as well as strength, toughness, machinability and excellent corrosion resistance. The high carbon content produces chromium carbide compounds, providing wear resistance and edge retention after hardening. Due to its high hardness, the steel is suitable for manufacturing cutting tools, knife blades and medical instruments.
Blade - a wide Bowie type blade finished elegantly Satinized. Despite its thickness, the hollow grind provides excellent cutting properties combined with excellent durability. Guard - made of brass on both sides, protects fingers from slipping on the blade while working.
Handle - coated with flexible, textured elastomer overlay, finished with a sturdy pommel. The soft rubber grip fits comfortably in the hand, ensuring a secure hold even with wet hands. Its strong and reliable grip allows for precise and controlled knife movements.
Sheath - hand-stitched, made of top quality brown cowhide with embossed manufacturer's logo. The edges of the case are stitched with decorative thread. Fastened with a Prym type snap. The belt attachment allows the knife to be carried in an upright position.
