Heidi Blacksmith 2 Green Canavas Micarta, Satin, a field knife with a fixed Blade. Full-tang design by Paderborn area-based German knifemaker Markus Heidgen, known to knife fans by his nickname “Heidi Blacksmith ‘or simply ’Heidi”. Mixed-ground blade with two cutting edges made of S35VN stainless steel, kydex sheath for vertical and horizontal attachment. CPM S35VN - American martensitic high-alloy stainless steel with a hardness of 59-61 HRC, one of the best blade steels. Designed to provide better strength compared to CPM S30V, while keeping corrosion resistance at the highest level. Produced by US Crucible Industries using the particle metallurgy / Crucible® Particle Metallurgy (CPM) method. The CPM process creates a very homogeneous, high-quality steel with excellent dimensional stability, grindability and ductility compared to steels produced by conventional methods. The chemical composition has been balanced so that it is composed of 0.5% niobium carbides (Nb) along with 3.0% vanadium (V) and 14.0% chromium (Cr) carbides. Replacing some of the niobium carbides with vanadium carbides makes the steel about 15-20% harder than S30V without sacrificing wear resistance, and it is also easier to machine and polish. The improved strength of CPM S35VN also provides better resistance to edge chipping.

Blade - type Clip Point, finished in an elegant Satin method. A mixed grind is used in this knife, in the back part is a high hollow grind for cutting and precision work so called Hollow Ground Primary Bevel. In the front part, we have a high Flat Ground tip reinforcement grind. To improve piercing capabilities, an unsharpened false blade was brought out in the upper part. To make it easier to control the blade, a section of the back of the wedge is covered with an upper jimping, notched thumb rest.

Handle - grips made of Canvas Micarta composite, a practically indestructible plastic that is insensitive to weather, resistant to chemicals and mechanical damage. The resulting material is extremely lightweight, durable and insensitive to weather conditions. Bolted directly to the tango with screws that can be unscrewed even with a coin. Simple, solid construction guarantees many years of use.

Sheath - made of kydex which, thanks to a series of holes on the edge, we can trounce in many ways.
