D2 - high-carbon, high-chromium high-speed tool steel heat -treated to 58-60 HRC. With a high chromium content of 13.0% (Cr), it offers greater corrosion resistance than most high-carbon steels. Combines strength, excellent edge holding and easy sharpening. Features high wear resistance due to high carbide content in the microstructure.

PVD (Physical Vapor Deposition) - The resistance of the surface of the wedge and cutting edge is enhanced by a vacuum deposition method used to deposit thin films by condensing an evaporated form of the desired material onto the surface of the workpiece. The coating method involves a purely physical process such as high-temperature vacuum evaporation followed by condensation. The applied coating has a very high hardness which significantly increases the resistance of the blade to rust and abrasive wear.

Blade - sheepfoot type coated with black PVD coating. Thegently curved cutting edge converges towards the safe tip of the wide wedge. The thickness of the blade and the high, flat grind give excellent cutting edge geometry and extreme cutting performance. Ceramic ball bearings are responsible for the smooth and smooth operation of the mechanism and support the opening of the blade with a hole in the wedge. On the back of the upper jimping wedge, a notched thumb rest. The whole is locked with a solid button lock.

Handle - made of G10 composite, a virtually indestructible plastic, insensitive to weather, resistant to chemicals and mechanical damage. Aggressive texture of the grips provides a secure grip, even with wet hands. The chamfered edges of the covers eliminate sharp edges for comfort, and the finger indentation on the front improves ergonomics.
