Nitro-V is a stainless martensitic chromium-based knife steel introduced by New Jersey Steel Baron (NJSB). The manufacturer used the already existing AEB-L improved knife steel and enhanced it with nitrogen and vanadium to improve edge performance and achieve high hardness and extreme corrosion resistance, especially crucial in the marine industry and humid environments. Nitro V can be used in diving knives because of its resistance to staining and corrosion. The recommended working hardness is in the range of 58-62HRC, and it has very good impact strength compared to other steels. It is harder than stainless powder steels such as M390, Elmax and S35VN. Therefore, Nitro-V is a good choice for knives that require good durability.

Blade - Clip Point type with a clearly marked belly, finished with a Stonewashed coating to hide fine scratches caused by use and then covered with a black coating. The versatile blade in combination with the high, hollow grind results in a perfect cutting edge geometry and extreme cutting performance. Ceramic ball bearings support the smooth operation of the blade opening mechanism, which can be opened with the front flipper or with the pin in the blade.
