ExBTT-24HE-KH BHT-55 is a next-generation hardened 24-inch expandable baton (615.0 mm / 24.00") featuring the advanced Easy Lock system and an ergonomic khaki-colored handle. The set includes a professional-grade BHT-55 holder with UBC-5-A mounting and Quick Change system.
Easy Lock System – allows for two deployment methods: a traditional swing or a discreet pull of the tip. The latter is ideal for situations that demand silent action. Retraction is one-handed—simply press the button at the end of the handle and brace the tip against a surface.
Handle – ergonomic and crafted from hypoallergenic, non-slip Type-H rubber. Its textured surface and khaki color provide a secure grip and tactical aesthetic compatibility.
BHT-55 Holder – supports two draw methods: standard and automatic (with a mounted base), which deploys the baton as it's drawn. The holster can be worn vertically, horizontally, or at any angle. A full 360° rotation and 16 locking positions maximize user adaptability and ergonomic comfort.
UBC-5-A Mount – part of the Quick Change system, this mount fits belts 38–56 mm wide (up to 68 mm without the limiter). Two adjustable screws secure the holster in place, preventing shifting during dynamic movement. The system enables fast swapping of holders (e.g., for a flashlight or pepper spray).
Steel – manufactured from seamless, cold-drawn tubing made of Cro-Mo 4130 low-carbon alloy steel (CSN 12060 = CK55 – DIN 17200 = C55E – EN 10083-1 + A1), which provides exceptional tensile and bending strength.
Hardness – steel segments are hardened to 40–50 HRC, enhancing resistance to mechanical damage.
Coating – all metal parts are treated with a wear-resistant black nickel-zinc (Ni-Zn) coating for superior protection against corrosion.
Important! – New batons may initially be stiff when closing. To ensure optimal performance, it's recommended to open and close the baton several times without applying excessive force.
