ExBTT-18HE-KH BHT-54 is a hardened 18-inch expandable baton (450.0 mm / 17.72") designed for civilian law enforcement officers, covert operatives, and individuals requiring extended reach in a compact form. This model features an ergonomic khaki-colored handle and includes the BHT-54 tactical holder.
Easy Lock System – an advanced mechanism that allows the baton to be deployed in two ways: a traditional wrist flick or a discreet pull of the tip—ideal when a full swing is impractical or undesirable. The baton can be closed with one hand by pressing the locking button and bracing the tip against a surface.
Handle – ergonomic and coated in Type-H non-slip rubber in a khaki finish. Its rough texture and contoured design ensure a secure, comfortable grip—even in adverse weather. The hypoallergenic material further enhances user comfort.
BHT-54 Holder – a tactical swiveling holster with a patented dual-draw system: standard or automatic deployment as the baton is drawn. The holder can be worn vertically, horizontally, or at an angle, offering full 360° rotation and 16 locking positions for maximum versatility.
UBC-5 Quick Change Mounting System – a slide-on belt attachment compatible with belts 32–50 mm wide (up to 60 mm without the insert). Enables quick release and exchange of holders (e.g., for flashlights, pepper spray, or magazines) without removing the entire system from the belt.
Steel – constructed from high-strength Cro-Mo 4130 chromium-molybdenum alloy, formed from seamless, cold-drawn tubes rated CSN 12060 = CK55 (DIN 17200) = C55E (EN 10083-1 + A1), offering excellent tensile and bending resistance.
Hardness – all steel components are heat-treated to 40–50 HRC, ensuring exceptional durability and resistance to deformation in operational use.
Coating – finished with a black nickel-zinc (Ni-Zn) layer for enhanced abrasion and corrosion resistance.
Important! – A new baton may initially be stiff to close. For optimal performance, it's recommended to open and close it several times without applying excessive force.
