ExBT-18HE-BK BHT-54 is a hardened 18-inch expandable baton (450.0 mm / 17.72") designed for law enforcement, security professionals, and civilians seeking a compact and effective self-defense tool. This model features the Easy Lock system, a black anti-slip handle, and the professional-grade BHT-54 tactical holster.
Easy Lock System – a modern locking mechanism that allows for rapid deployment with a swing or discreetly by pulling the tip, ideal in situations where a full motion is restricted. The baton can be retracted one-handed by pressing the release button and bracing the tip against a surface.
Handle – classic Type-H anti-slip grip in black, made from synthetic, hypoallergenic rubber. The textured surface ensures a secure hold, even with wet hands, enhancing control and safety during use.
BHT-54 Holder – a professional rotating holster offering two draw methods: standard and automatic deployment as the baton is pulled out. The holster rotates 360° and locks into one of 16 positions. The user can customize the setup, including the removal of the auto-expansion base.
UBC-5 Mount – part of the patented Quick Change System, enabling rapid attachment swaps without removing the entire system from the belt. Compatible with belts 32–50 mm wide (up to 60 mm with insert removed). Two adjustment screws ensure a secure, stable fit during active movement.
Steel – made from Cro-Mo 4130 chromium-molybdenum alloy, known for its tensile and bending resistance. Constructed from cold-drawn seamless tubes according to CSN 12060 = CK55 (DIN 17200), C55E (EN 10083-1 + A1).
Hardness – heat-treated to a hardness of 40–50 HRC, delivering strong protection against deformation and wear under demanding use.
Coating – finished with a durable black nickel-zinc (Ni-Zn) layer to enhance corrosion and abrasion resistance.
Important! – New batons may initially be stiff when closing. To ensure smooth function, we recommend opening and closing the baton several times without applying excessive force.
