The Tramuntana Great Dane Root Wood/Steel, Mirror from Great Dane's Decor Habitat series follows in the tradition of European gentleman's pocket knives, where aesthetics of finish are as important as functionality. The combination of mirror-polished steel and natural wood creates a composition with a distinctly classic, almost jewel-like character. The blade, made of 440 steel, received a clip point profile , ensuring versatility and good tip control. The flat grind promotes smooth, precise handling of the blade in everyday tasks. The mirror-finished surface gives the blade a high gloss finish and emphasizes its clean, classic lines. A decorative filework is visible on the back, which increases grip stability for more precise work. The Handle is a harmonious combination of stainless steel and root wood inlay. The whole is based on the traditional back lock mechanism , known for its durability and secure locking of the blade. The model is delivered in a presentation box, which further accentuates its representative character.

440 martensitic alloy stainless steel with a hardness of 58 HRC. Containing min. 16% chromium with impressively high strength and corrosion resistance. The high carbon content causes the formation of chromium carbide compounds, providing wear resistance and edge retention after hardening. Due to its high hardness, the steel is suitable for the manufacture of cutting tools knife blades and scissors, as well as medical tools.

Blade - with a clip point profile is distinguished by a sloping back and a clearly defined tip. This geometry provides versatility - from precision cutting to more decisive cuts in everyday materials. The flat grind gives the blade an even, usable geometry, promoting cutting control and edge stability. The mirror finish gives the surface a smooth and crisp sheen, emphasizing the model's elegant character. The back lock stabilizes the blade in the open position, ensuring safe use.

Handle - made of stainless steel. The root wood insert introduces a natural contrast - the dark, subtly differentiated wood grain visually warms the design and emphasizes its classic pedigree. The gently curved profile promotes a comfortable hand position, and the decorated spring (decorated spring) is a stylistic detail reminiscent of traditional pocket folders. The back lock mechanism has been discreetly integrated into the line of the back and decorated with an artful filework, preserving the purity of the form.
