Based on the line of the iconic Rao model , the Italian brand from Prato has created a variant with full structural integrity: a single lump of hardened steel, without grips, with a clearly contoured geometry and a raw, tactical finish. Blade of modified tanto type was derived from high-quality stainless steel Böhler N690, hardened to approximately 58 HRC, which provides impressive abrasion resistance and edge stability even under extreme stress. The Blade's tip has been thickened for increased piercing power, while the flat grind allows for efficient transfer of cutting energy. The entire blade is finished in a dark stonewashed style , which gives the blade a matte texture with low reflectivity and increased scratch resistance - a key feature in tactical environments. N690 - corrosion-resistant, high-carbon 1.07% (C), martensitic chromium steel 17.30% (Cr) with molybdenum 1.10% (Mo), vanadium 0.10% (V) and cobalt 1.50% (Co) for structural uniformity. Features exceptionally high corrosion resistance and long edge retention. One of the best tool steels in the world today. It achieves a hardness of 57-60 HRC. Manufactured by Böhler Edelstahl in Kapfenberg, Austria.
