143,73 €This product is intended for use only by adults with knowledge and experience in handling sharp cutting tools. Improper use of the knife can result in serious injuries. The blade is extremely sharp and can easily cut through skin and tissue; therefore, extra caution should always be exercised while cutting, and hands should be kept away from the cutting edge. To prevent the knife from slipping, it is recommended to cut on a stable, non-slip surface and avoid excessive force, which may cause uncontrolled blade movement.
Leaving the knife on the edge of a table, countertop, or in easily accessible places—especially where children are present—poses a significant safety risk. The knife should always be properly secured after use, ideally by placing it on a stable surface or storing it in designated knife blocks, protective sheaths, or magnetic strips. The knife should never be used for tasks it is not designed for, such as opening cans or prying objects, as this can damage the tool and lead to dangerous accidents.
A dull blade increases the risk of injury, as it requires more force and is more likely to slip from the material being cut. Therefore, it is essential to sharpen the knife regularly to maintain optimal sharpness. Additionally, proper cleaning and drying of the knife are necessary to prevent corrosion and bacterial growth. Periodic inspection of the handle and blade is recommended to check for cracks, chips, or looseness. If any damage is detected, the knife should be repaired or replaced immediately.
When using the knife, focus solely on the task at hand—avoid talking on the phone, watching television, or other distractions while cutting. Ensure proper lighting in the workspace for better visibility and control. Please note that some countries or regions have laws restricting the ownership and carrying of knives. Before purchasing or using this knife, verify that its use is legal in your location according to applicable regulations.
Following these safety guidelines will help ensure safe and effective knife use, minimizing the risk of accidents and extending the lifespan of the tool.
Endela Lightweight Cobalt Blue FRN, Satin, a knife that blurs the distinction between the iconic Endura and Delica folders. It offers all the refined and proven features of each while locating itself in the perfect “in-between” size. Reinforced fully strippable skeleton construction joined by torx screws (makes it easier to clean, adjust the pocket knife), 4-way clip positions. Improved ergonomics and design, making the folder more rigid, functional and aesthetically pleasing. An excellent proposal for an EDC knife .
CPM SPY27 - a proprietary blend of alloys, including vanadium, molybdenum, niobium, nitrogen and cobalt. The high-alloy stainless steel contains 1.4% carbon and a 1% admixture of niobium (Nb), one of the best carbides, which contributes to the steel's wear resistance. Thanks to its properties, the steel holds sharpness for a very long time and guarantees aggressive cuts for a long time. It is easy to sharpen, corrosion resistant and contains a high admixture of 14% chromium. It provides good strength and cutting edge retention, as well as a fine-grained structure. Produced by US Crucible Industries using the particle metallurgy / Crucible® Particle Metallurgy (CPM) method. The CPM process creates a very homogeneous, high-quality steel with excellent dimensional stability, grindability and toughness compared to steels produced by conventional methods.
Blade - with Clip Point profile provides excellent cutting edge geometry with low friction. Made of CPM SPY27 steel produced only for Spyderco. Plain blade was derived with a Full Flat Grind. Satin Finish (semi-matte) coating eliminates glare. A ramped, notched section of the Blade's back positions the thumb and gives solid support for easy handling of the folder. SpyderHole round cutout (Spyderco patent) for opening the blade with one hand. Blade Back-Lock with protection against accidental release of the lock during a firm grip of the knife, cutout in the lock designed by David Boye.
Handle - in cobalt blue color, reserved for knives made of CPM SPY27 steel. Non-slipbi-directional textured covers(Bi-Directional Texturing) and notched notches on the back of the Handle(Spine Jimping) strengthen the grip even with wet hands. Made of FRN (Fiberglass Reinforced Nylon), a fiberglass-reinforced nylon plastic. Metal hourglass clip with four-way (up/down, right/left) attachment 4-way clip positions. Lanyard hole allows attachment of a safety line. Backspacer in red color.
Skeleton - two steel plates with cut-out holes, to which the grips are attached. This provides high strength and stiffness with low weight of the knife. Reinforced fully demountable structure connected by screws torx. Phosphor bronze washers make it easier to open and close the pocket knife.
