This is a heavy 5.52 mm diabolo pellet designed specifically for powerful FAC-class air rifles with no energy limit. The Shallow version features a shallower skirt (shallow skirt), whose geometry was developed to improve precision. Its high weight, refined shape, and proper balance support a stable and repeatable flight path, especially at higher energy levels.
The pellet maintains high stability at energies above 50 J and is also intended for very powerful air rifles producing 70 J. This makes the Monster Redesigned Shallow a particularly attractive choice for users of powerful PCP air rifles who expect high flight stability, consistency, and precision at longer ranges. Declared muzzle velocities are v₀ = 140 m/s for rifles producing 16–17 J, v₀ = 250 m/s for 50 J, and v₀ = 295 m/s for 70 J. JSB also tests this pellet at a distance of 45 m, with an expected average central spread of five shots of up to 16 mm.
