Warning and Safety Information for the KnifeMore

This product is intended for use only by adults with knowledge and experience in handling sharp cutting tools. Improper use of the knife can result in serious injuries. The blade is extremely sharp and can easily cut through skin and tissue; therefore, extra caution should always be exercised while cutting, and hands should be kept away from the cutting edge. To prevent the knife from slipping, it is recommended to cut on a stable, non-slip surface and avoid excessive force, which may cause uncontrolled blade movement.

Leaving the knife on the edge of a table, countertop, or in easily accessible places—especially where children are present—poses a significant safety risk. The knife should always be properly secured after use, ideally by placing it on a stable surface or storing it in designated knife blocks, protective sheaths, or magnetic strips. The knife should never be used for tasks it is not designed for, such as opening cans or prying objects, as this can damage the tool and lead to dangerous accidents.

A dull blade increases the risk of injury, as it requires more force and is more likely to slip from the material being cut. Therefore, it is essential to sharpen the knife regularly to maintain optimal sharpness. Additionally, proper cleaning and drying of the knife are necessary to prevent corrosion and bacterial growth. Periodic inspection of the handle and blade is recommended to check for cracks, chips, or looseness. If any damage is detected, the knife should be repaired or replaced immediately.

When using the knife, focus solely on the task at hand—avoid talking on the phone, watching television, or other distractions while cutting. Ensure proper lighting in the workspace for better visibility and control. Please note that some countries or regions have laws restricting the ownership and carrying of knives. Before purchasing or using this knife, verify that its use is legal in your location according to applicable regulations.

Following these safety guidelines will help ensure safe and effective knife use, minimizing the risk of accidents and extending the lifespan of the tool.

Slippy Sendy Green-Red G10, Satin is an interpretation of the modern EDC knife in the spirit of simplicity, functionality and conscious limitation of mechanics. The design by Ben Petersen focuses on maximum utility with minimum form, offering a tool that remains unobtrusive, lightweight and intuitive to use. The slip joint design makes the knife a perfect fit for users looking for a non-locking solution, while still providing control and predictable operation. Blade with spey point profile is designed for precise cutting and safe blade handling during everyday tasks. The applied flat grind provides a favorable balance between cutting efficiency and stability of the cutting edge, which translates into a high culture of work with soft and medium-hard materials. The whole is complemented by a technical surface finish that supports the utilitarian character of the knife. Handle made of G10 composite gives the design a modern, character, while offering low weight, high resistance and dimensional stability. The simple, linear shape promotes a firm grip, and the presence of a hole and an attached cord increases functionality in everyday carry. Slippy Sendy is for users who appreciate modern materials, minimalist form and consciously chosen non-locking mechanics.

Ben Petersen came into contact with the knife industry in 2011, supplementing his college education with a casual job making YouTube videos. The vortex of the knife world drew him in and he spent the next eight years working full-time in the industry for a knife retailer and manufacturer. He dealt with thousands of knives, recording more than 1,000 knife videos and producing knife marketing content for the entire industry. During his travels, Ben developed a particular preference for knives, such as blades under 3 inches and a fondness for blue Handle grips in simple designs. After years of advertising other people's knives, Ben created his first EC design called “Banter.” It is a thoughtful combination of all the features Ben loves in knives. When he's not working on knives, Ben spends most of his time backpacking, biking and exploring his home state of Utah with his wife and four children. And like him, they all like knives, too.

Nitro-V stainless martensitic chromium-based knife steel introduced by New Jersey Steel Baron(NJSB). The manufacturer used the existing superior AEB-L knife steel and upgraded it with nitrogen and vanadium to improve edge performance and achieve high hardness and extreme corrosion resistance, especially crucial in the marine industry and humid environments. Nitro V can be used in diving knives because of its resistance to staining and corrosion. The recommended working hardness is between 58-62HRC, and it has very good impact strength compared to other steels. It is harder than stainless powder steels such as M390, Elmax and S35VN. Therefore, Nitro-V will be a good fit for knives that require good strength.

Blade - with Spey Point profile was designed with an emphasis on control and safety of work, reducing the aggression of the tip while maintaining full cutting functionality. Such a shape works especially well in precision tasks, where stable guidance of the blade and repeatability of cutting counts. The flat grind used creates a thin, effective edge geometry that promotes smooth entry into the material and low cutting resistance. This grind offers versatile performance, combining good cutting aggression with sufficient edge durability for everyday use. The satin finish reduces the visibility of minor wear marks and adds a touch of elegance to the overall look. The slip joint mechanism, based on a dorsal spring, provides controlled resistance during opening and closing, without mechanical locking of the blade. This solution promotes simplicity of design, low weight and compliance with strict regulations for EDC knives in many jurisdictions.

Handle - made of G10 composite is distinguished by its exceptional resistance to environmental factors and structural stability. This material, used in advanced technical applications, is ideal for EDC knives where durability with minimal weight is important . The subtle milling of the surface improves grip control, without introducing an aggressive texture. The integrated hole and attached cord increase utility functionality, allowing you to quickly retrieve the knife or secure it while working. The overall design creates a cohesive, modern form, which emphasizes the utilitarian character of the Slippy Senda as a lightweight, consciously designed EDC tool.
