154CM - high-quality stainless tool steel used in the production of knives and other cutting tools. A premium-grade steel that offers excellent edge retention, strength, and corrosion resistance. Developed by US Crucible Industries, which specializes in the production of alloys for industrial applications. It contains a combination of carbon, chromium, molybdenum, and vanadium, which give it its unique properties. The name “154CM” refers to 1.54% carbon and the inclusion of chromium (Cr) and molybdenum (Mo). It is often compared to other premium steels, such as S30V, S35VN, and CPM 20CV. Knives made from 154CM steel are valued by both enthusiasts and professionals for their excellent performance and durability.
Blade - drop point style, finished with an elegant satin finish for a semi-matte effect. The long cutting edge tapers toward a needle-sharp tip. The blade thickness and high, flat grind provide excellent cutting edge geometry and extreme cutting performance. Ceramic ball bearings assist in opening the blade via a quick index-finger flipper, which functions as a crossguard once opened. A section of the blade spine is perfectly styled to resemble the scales of a prehistoric creature. The entire unit is secured by a modern Liner Lock mechanism.
Handle - monolithic, made from a single piece of multi-layered G10 (glass fiber pressed under pressure with synthetic resin) milled with 3D CNC machines, along with a perfectly fitted titanium bolster. This ensures incredible durability, but requires the highest level of skill and precision in production. The beveled edges of the covers and the fore finger groove eliminate sharp edges and improve the ergonomics of the grip. On the spine of the handle, stylized circles echo the “circles” on the spine of the blade. The pivot axis is adorned with a stylized Rike Knife logo. A single-position (right-side) deep carry clip allows for discreet carrying of the knife in a pocket in the tip-up position (blade tip facing upward).
Case - the knife is packaged in a zippered nylon soft pouch with the brand logo for safe transport and storage of the folder.
