The model combines a sickle-shaped blade, a finger ring, a Frame Lock locking mechanism, and the Emerson Wave system, which allows the blade to open quickly when drawing the knife from a pocket. The Mid version retains the technical character of the larger model but offers a smaller profile and more comfortable everyday carry.
The blade, made of Böhler M390 steel, with a Hawkbill / Karambit profile, Flat Grind edge, and Black PVD finish, creates a configuration with a distinctly tactical, mission-oriented character. The handle, made of Aluminium Ergal in Black, utilizes Solid® Knife monolithic technology, and opening via the Emerson Wave, flipper, or thumb hole provides the user with several practical handling options.
