The Niksan Defence NKS GL17 is a high-quality CO2-powered air pistol designed for use with steel BBs. Manufactured by a renowned Turkish firearms producer, it is a faithful replica of the iconic Glock 17. The air pistol features a metal slide and a durable polymer frame and grip, closely matching the construction of the original firearm. Its moving slide incorporates a blowback system that cycles with every shot, realistically replicating the operation of a live firearm.
CO2 Air Pistol with a Blowback Slide
The air pistol is powered by a 12 g CO2 cartridge housed inside the magazine, which is inserted into the pistol grip. In addition to the cartridge, the magazine holds 18 steel BBs in 4.46 mm caliber. This design allows the pistol to be reloaded quickly with a spare magazine, much like a real firearm, even after the CO2 cartridge has been depleted. The efficient gas system delivers a muzzle velocity of up to 110 m/s. A single cartridge provides approximately 50–60 shots.
The air pistol’s blowback system causes the slide to cycle with every shot. Once the magazine is empty, the slide locks open in the rear position. This allows the pistol to closely replicate the operation of a real firearm, providing a more immersive and realistic shooting experience.
Fixed Sights and Accessory Rail
The air pistol is equipped with fixed front and rear sights featuring highly visible white-dot markings for faster target acquisition. The 22 mm RIS rail located beneath the barrel allows you to attach a laser sight or tactical light.
