ASP SideBreak Ballistic Scabbard for 21'' Friction Loc Expandable Baton (52435)

SideBreak Ballistic 21" is a professional scabbard for carrying a 21" Friction Loc expandable baton, equipped with a rotating Snap-Loc Belt Loop attachment. Adjustment of the scabbard position allows the carry angle to be adapted to the user’s preferences, increasing carrying comfort and enabling quick baton draw in both the closed and extended position.

SideBreak — the scabbard features a split-front design, allowing the extended baton to be quickly drawn from the side without the need to collapse it first. The construction provides stable retention and secure baton carry during dynamic movement and in situations requiring immediate reaction.

Snap-Loc Belt Loop — a mounting system designed for professional users, including uniformed and special service officers. The flat clip allows the scabbard to be attached to a duty belt or to gear webbing in the M.O.L.L.E. standard. The system allows the scabbard to be quickly attached and detached without removing the belt.

The attachment fits belts from 30–56 mm wide and, after removing the adjustment insert, also wider duty belts up to 68 mm. To reduce movement during activity, the attachment is equipped with two adjustment screws that allow the scabbard to be locked in the desired position on the belt or M.O.L.L.E. webbing. Adjustment is made using the Hex Key stored inside the attachment.

Snap-Loc Belt Loop allows the attached equipment to rotate within a 180° range and enables the carry angle to be set by locking the scabbard in one of 7 predefined positions.

SideBreak scabbards can also be used with most Friction Loc expandable batons from other manufacturers.
