Reximex RPA Race Red is a compact regulated PCP air pistol designed for precision target shooting, training, and recreational use. The Race version features a new trigger mechanism, an enlarged cocking lever, and a ventilated barrel shroud. Reximex RPA Race Red Air Pistol Construction

The Turkish walnut grip features an anatomical profile and lower palm support. This design promotes stable pistol control and helps maintain consistent hand placement from shot to shot. The natural wood adds a classic touch that contrasts with the sporty red accents of the Race Red version.

The 200 mm / 7.9" rifled barrel is designed for use with diabolo pellets. It is surrounded by a lightweight ventilated shroud with weight-reduction ports. This design reduces weight at the front of the pistol and makes it easier to keep the sights steadily aligned on target.

The design allows a muzzle device to be installed using the included 1/2" UNF adapter. This makes it possible to attach a compatible airgun suppressor or compensator.

The factory open sights include an adjustable rear sight. This adjustment allows the point of aim to be fine-tuned for the selected pellet and shooting distance.

An 11 mm dovetail rail is located on top of the pistol. It allows a compatible optical sight or red dot sight to be installed, enabling the pistol to be configured to suit the shooter’s preferred setup.

One of the defining features of the Race version is the AR Style Flat Trigger. The flat trigger blade provides a broad, consistent contact surface for the finger. This supports controlled trigger operation, which is particularly important during precision target shooting.

Reximex RPA Race Red Shooting Performance

The Reximex RPA Race Red uses a PCP system powered by compressed air stored in a 50 cc aluminum air cylinder. The maximum fill pressure is 250 bar. The cylinder is removable, making maintenance easier and allowing the use of an optional spare reservoir.

The integrated pressure regulator ensures consistent air delivery. As a result, successive shots maintain highly repeatable velocity, helping deliver tighter groups when shooting at small targets and during regular target practice.

Depending on the caliber, the pistol provides approximately 40–55 effective shots within its optimal pressure range. For 4.5 mm caliber, the manufacturer specifies up to 55 effective shots, while the 5.5 mm version provides up to 40.

Cocking is handled by a Side Lever. Its enlarged, competition-style handle allows smooth and efficient operation. Cycling the lever cocks the trigger mechanism, indexes the magazine, and chambers the next pellet.

The rotary magazine holds 9 pellets in 4.5 mm caliber or 7 pellets in 5.5 mm caliber. This allows rapid follow-up shots without manually placing each pellet directly into the chamber.

Shooters who prefer loading individual pellets manually can use the SSA – Single Shot Adapter. The single-shot tray allows pellets to be loaded directly into the chamber without using the magazine mechanism.

A manual safety helps reduce the risk of an accidental discharge. The control is positioned near the trigger, allowing convenient operation without significantly changing hand position.
