Reximex RP Race Red Air Pistol Construction
The ergonomic grip is made from durable synthetic material. Its anatomical contouring and lower palm support help maintain consistent hand placement. This is especially important during extended training sessions, when a stable grip directly contributes to greater shooting comfort and control.
The Reximex RP Race Red features a compact design. Without the stock, it measures 330 mm and weighs approximately 0.9 kg. With the stock installed, overall length increases to 600 mm and weight to approximately 1.0 kg. This modular setup allows the air pistol to be configured to match the shooter’s preferred shooting style.
The 200 mm / 7.9" rifled barrel is designed for use with diabolo pellets. The barrel is protected by a lightweight ventilated shroud with weight-reduction ports. Its design helps reduce weight at the front of the pistol, while the red finish gives the Race Red version its distinctive competition-inspired appearance.
The design allows a muzzle device to be installed using the included 1/2" UNF threaded adapter. This makes it possible to attach a compatible airgun suppressor or compensator.
The factory open sights include an adjustable rear sight, allowing the shooter to fine-tune the point of aim for the selected pellet and shooting distance. The top of the pistol also features an 11 mm dovetail rail for mounting a compatible optical sight or red dot sight.
Reximex RP Race Red Shooting Performance
At the heart of the pistol is a regulated PCP system. Compressed air is stored in a 50 cc aluminum cylinder rated for a maximum fill pressure of 250 bar. The regulator provides consistent air delivery from shot to shot, helping maintain stable pellet velocity. This is particularly important during target practice and when working to improve group consistency.
Depending on the caliber, the Reximex RP Race delivers approximately 40–55 effective shots within its optimal pressure range. The aluminum air cylinder is removable, making servicing easier and allowing the use of an optional spare cylinder.
Cocking is handled by a Side Lever mechanism. Operating the lever cocks the trigger mechanism, indexes the magazine, and chambers the next pellet. The enlarged, competition-style lever allows the shooter to prepare the pistol for the next shot quickly and smoothly without significantly altering the shooting grip.
The rotary magazine holds 7–9 pellets, depending on caliber. Two magazines are included. Shooters who prefer loading individual pellets manually can also use the included SSA – Single Shot Adapter. The single-shot tray allows a pellet to be inserted directly into the chamber without using the magazine mechanism.
The Race version is equipped with an AR Style Flat Trigger, featuring a flat trigger blade that provides a broad, consistent contact surface for the finger. This design helps provide more precise trigger control, which is especially valuable during target shooting.
A manual safety helps secure the pistol when not firing. The safety control is positioned near the trigger, allowing convenient operation without significantly changing hand position.
