Kubey Mini Wrath White G10, Black Stonewashed 14C28N Folding Knife (KU262I)

The Kubey Mini Wrath KU262I is a compact folding knife designed by MUZI Design, combining a Sandvik 14C28N blade with a white G10 handle and contrasting black hardware. The distinctive Claw profile, Liner Lock, and three manual opening methods create a design with a bold, dynamic character.

The 62.00 mm blade features a flat grind and a black stonewashed finish. The knife can be opened using the flipper, the hole in the blade, or the Emerson Wave feature, which allows for a dynamic opening motion when removing the knife from your pocket.

Sandvik 14C28N and Vacuum-Cryogenic Heat Treatment

The blade is made of Sandvik 14C28N steel, hardened to 60–62 HRC. Vacuum hardening combined with cryogenic treatment was used, which promotes high hardness, wear resistance, and stable steel properties during regular use.

Claw, flat grind, and Black Stonewashed

The Claw profile gives the blade a curved, aggressive cutting edge and a well-controlled tip. The flat grind facilitates smooth cutting through material, while the Black Stonewashed finish gives the blade a dark, rugged look and minimizes the visibility of minor wear marks.

White G10, Liner Lock, and Ceramic Bearings

The handle is made of white G10, which creates a strong contrast with the black blade and black hardware. The titanium character of the construction is replaced here by steel structural elements: the backspacer, clip, liners, filler tab, and screws are finished in dark Black PVD.

Ceramic ball bearings ensure smooth blade operation, while the Liner Lock stabilizes the blade when fully open. The clip can be mounted on the right or left side in a tip-up configuration.

Frequently Asked Questions

How do I care for Sandvik 14C28N steel?

It’s a good idea to clean the blade regularly and dry it thoroughly. 14C28N combines corrosion resistance with ease of sharpening, making it ideal for everyday use.

How do I sharpen the Kubey Mini Wrath?

14C28N steel responds well to ceramic, water stones, and guided sharpening systems. Sharpening does not require abrasives as aggressive as those used for high-vanadium powder steels.

What sharpening angle should be used for the Kubey Mini Wrath?

The recommended sharpening angle range is 15°–20°. This allows you to adjust the edge geometry to your preferred balance between cutting aggressiveness and blade durability.

How does the Liner Lock work?

The Liner Lock uses a spring-loaded liner component that, upon opening, moves behind the blade root and stabilizes the blade in the open position.

How do you maintain ceramic ball bearings?

It’s a good idea to regularly clean the area around the pivot of dust and fine debris. If necessary, you can use a small amount of a cleaning agent designed for knife mechanisms.
