122,86 €Kizer Trestle TP AirTi Dual Blade Gray Aluminum / Black Micarta, Black PVD CTS-BD1N by Azo – a modern slipjoint with two black blades
The Kizer Trestle TP AirTi K3761TPA3 is a subdued color variant of the modern Trapper featuring two CTS-BD1N blades. The Clip Point and Spey Point blades feature a black PVD coating, while the handle combines gray aluminum with black micarta. A purple, crystallized titanium backspacer breaks up the dark color scheme and highlights the character of the AirTi series.
The design remains lightweight despite the presence of two blades and weighs 80.70 g. Each blade is 82.01 mm long and serves a specific purpose: the Clip Point facilitates precise tip control, while the Spey Point provides stable geometry for flat cuts and utility work. KStop™ 105° improves control during opening and closing.
CTS-BD1N – Two Blades for Everyday Tasks
Both blades are made of CTS-BD1N steel with a hardness of 59 ±1 HRC. This steel offers a practical combination of corrosion resistance, edge retention, and properties suitable for everyday carry (EDC). The two different blade geometries allow you to leverage the same material properties for different tasks.
Clip Point and Spey Point
Clip Point offers a more precise tip and performs well during controlled cutting, opening packages, or detailed work. Spey Point has a gentler tip, making it well-suited for flat cuts, scraping, and tasks where control over a larger portion of the edge is important.
Black PVD coating
Both blades are coated with black PVD, which gives the model a dark, technical look and blends seamlessly with the black Micarta. The flat grind makes the design versatile in terms of functionality, and the black finish clearly distinguishes the TPA3 from the other variants in the series.
Gray Aluminum and Black Micarta
The handle combines gray aluminum with black Micarta. The combination is understated and practical, and the Micarta’s texture provides a tactile grip. Thanks to the lightweight materials, the entire pocket knife remains easy to handle despite its complex, double-bladed design.
Purple backspacer made of crystallized titanium
The backspacer is made of crystallized Ti-6Al-4V and finished in Purple. This bold accent contrasts with the gray-black handle and black blades, serving as a distinctive visual feature of the model.
KStop™ 105° and Slip Joint
The Slip Joint mechanism is complemented by the KStop™ system with a wide half-stop at a 105° angle. Locking the blade in this position provides the user with an additional, clear stage during blade deployment and retraction and increases the space between the edge and the fingers.
Why Choose the Kizer Trestle TP AirTi K3761TPA3?
This is the most understated and technical variant in the series. Two CTS-BD1N blades with a black PVD coating, Black Micarta, KStop™ 105°, and a purple titanium backspacer come together to create a functional EDC pocket knife that retains the classic Trapper concept but clearly departs from traditional styling.
