Exocet II 1157-10TA features a symmetrical D/E blade made of Böhler M390MK steel, a Tan-colored 6061-T6 aluminum handle, and a practical stonewashed finish. Its distinctive compact profile houses an automatic D/A mechanism controlled by a Thumb Slide and a Dual-Fuel Drive Train™.
The light, sand-colored handle contrasts with the matte steel of the blade, creating a clear, functional design. The wide titanium clip remains an integral part of the Exocet II concept: it’s used for carrying the knife in a pocket, but can also hold bills or cards.
M390MK and D/E Profile
M390MK provides high corrosion resistance and good edge retention, while the Double Edge configuration utilizes two sharpened sides of the short blade. The symmetrical profile culminates in a central tip, characteristic of this Exocet II variant.
Stonewashed – a practical blade surface
The stonewashed finish gives the surface a matte, uneven texture. As a result, minor signs of everyday use are less visible than on a uniformly polished surface, which suits the utilitarian nature of this compact OTF well.
Dual-Fuel Drive Train™
The Dual-Fuel Drive Train™ mechanism allows the blade to move automatically in both directions. Pushing the thumb slider extends the blade, and pulling the slider back automatically retracts it. The Slide Lock works in conjunction with the drive train to hold the blade in the open position.
Tan Aluminum and Titanium Clip
The frame is made of 6061-T6 aluminum in Tan. This material allows for a lightweight design while maintaining a rigid mechanism. The right-side titanium clip, which is tip-down, is wide and can also be used as a money clip.
Why Choose the Exocet II 1157-10TA?
This is a versatile option for those who prefer a light-colored handle and a neutral blade finish. The design retains all the signature features of the Exocet II: a compact form factor, D/A OTF, M390MK steel, and a multifunctional titanium clip.
