Fulcrum Black is an absolute milestone in the design of multi-functional knives. Created in cooperation with COMALP (Comando Truppe Alpine) Italian alpine unit. Extrema Ratio, was chosen by COMALP to design a new, multifunctional infantry knife, that can be used wherever more complicated tools have failed.

Extremely durable, versatile knife with a head that withstands the load on bending with a force of 150 kg without fear of breaking. The tanto profile, which is easy to sharpen, retains high sharpness of the cutting edge - regardless of the intensity of wear. Thanks to its weight and balance, the Fulcrum is the perfect knife for heavy field work. Robust handle, easy to replace in case of damage.

N690 - corrosion-resistant, high-carbon 1.07% (C), martensitic chromium steel 17.30% (Cr) with molybdenum 1.10% (Mo), vanadium 0.10% (V) and cobalt 1.50% (Co) for structural uniformity. Features exceptionally high corrosion resistance and long edge retention. One of the best tool steels in the world today. It achieves a hardness of 57-60 HRC. Manufactured by Böhler Edelstahl in Kapfenberg, Austria.

Blade - modified Tanto profile, 6.3 mm thickness. The blade is covered with a mate, non-reflective MIL-C-13924 BURNISHING coating. The semi-serrated Combo blade has been extruded with a concave cut (Flat grind). A textured ramp (spine jimping) under the thumb on the back.

Combo Edge - (partly serrated) used in tactical, rescue and survival knives. It consists alternately of one large and two small teeth, this pattern increases the length of the cutting edge by up to 24% compared to the straight edge. Ideal for cutting hard materials, plastics and fibrous materials.

Handle - full-size 5” type "FH" (Full Handle) type used in Extrema Ratio assault knives. Textured, non-slip linings with rubber-like properties, made of Forprene thermoplastic elastomer (elastic return, softness, resistance to chemicals), guarantee a sure grip also The steel head with an enlarged oval gap (lanyard hole) that allows you to pull a leash or a safety rope can act as a hammer / glass breaker.

Sheath - a multifunctional of abrasion-resistant, waterproof nylon in black color, fastened with a DuraFlex type buckle. The holster is equipped with a single, automatic, pressure activated protection. The case has a MOLLE-compatible attachment for carrying the knife in a vertical position on a belt or waistcoat. The lower part of the holster with velcro fastened with a Velcro, allowing the knife to be attached to the thigh.
