BDØ R Black Nylon, Stone Washed slim, ultra-light 52 g, universal EDC. Extrema Ratio proudly presents another folding knife from the Basic Folder line. Equipped with shaft extension / lever, for quick opening of the blade, so-called High Speed Razor Opening. The cutting capabilities of the knife are surprising in comparison to its appearance.

N690 - corrosion-resistant, high-carbon 1.07% (C), martensitic chromium steel 17.30% (Cr) with molybdenum 1.10% (Mo), vanadium 0.10% (V) and cobalt 1.50% (Co) for structural uniformity. Features exceptionally high corrosion resistance and long edge retention. One of the best tool steels in the world today. It achieves a hardness of 57-60 HRC. Manufactured by Böhler Edelstahl in Kapfenberg, Austria.

Blade - extremely sharp with a Dagger profile and a thickness of 2.5 mm. The blade was finished with a masking fine scratches, a non-reflective Stone Washed coating. Smooth blade (Plain type) was made with a full flat cut (Full Flat grind) which ensures durability, excellent cutting edge geometry and extreme cutting performance. Robust blade-lock mechanism - Liner-Lock.

Handle - liners stainless steel and technopolymer grip cladding (reinforced nylon) provide lightness and structural strength. Open construction of the handle, so-called open-backed simplifies cleaning and maintenance. A solid metal left / right-handed clip (deep-pocket metal clip) allows you to carry the knife deeply in your pocket (discreetly) in the tip-up position (tip top).

Technopolymer - also called the metal's successor. Modern material with a high percentage of glass fibers related to the polymer base and the presence (or not) of aramid (synthetic fibers, including Kevlar). It is characterized by unusual mechanical and thermal parameters. Advantages: corrosion-resistant, low weight, no maintenance (low coefficient of friction), electrical insulation (prevents the transmission of electricity), no reaction to the magnetic field, any color.
