BDØ R HCS (Razor Hybrid Coyote Sage) slim, ultra-light 52 g, universal EDC. Extrema Ratio is proud to present another folding knife from the Basic Folder line. Equipped with the blade extension / lever for quick opening of the blade, called: „High Speed ​​Razor Opening”. The cutting capabilities of the knife are surprising compared to its appearance.

N690 - corrosion-resistant, high-carbon 1.07% (C), martensitic chromium steel 17.30% (Cr) with molybdenum 1.10% (Mo), vanadium 0.10% (V) and cobalt 1.50% (Co) for structural uniformity. Features exceptionally high corrosion resistance and long edge retention. One of the best tool steels in the world today. It achieves a hardness of 57-60 HRC. Manufactured by Böhler Edelstahl in Kapfenberg, Austria.

Blade - extremely sharp Dagger type (dagger), 2.5 mm thick. The blade was finished with a masking fine scratches Stone Washed method. Smooth blade Plain type was made with a full flat cut (Full Flat grind) which ensures durability, excellent cutting edge geometry and extreme cutting performance. Robust blade-lock mechanism - Liner-Lock.

Handle - in HCS color (Hybrid Coyote Sage). Stainless steel liners and technopolymer (reinforced nylon) shank linings ensure lightness and structural strength. Technopolymer - also known as the successor to metal. Modern material with a high percentage of glass fibers associated with the polymer base and the presence (or not) of aramid (synthetic fibers, including Kevlar). It is characterized by unusual mechanical and thermal parameters. Advantages: corrosion resistant, low weight, no maintenance (low friction coefficient), electrical insulation (prevents electric conduction), no reaction to magnetic field, any colors.
