FOX Bushman Fixed Knife Canvas Micarta OD Green (FX-609 OD)

FX-609 OD, Bushman an incredibly durable knife with a full tang construction made by the Italian FOX Company, aimed at bushcraft and survival enthusiasts. Extremely versatile due to its weight and balance on the blade it is suitable for heavy work. The wide, massive blade provides a balance between strength and cutting edge geometry.

D2 - blade made of high-carbon tool steel with an admixture of chrome. It is characterized by high hardness in the range of 58-61 HRC and resistance to abrasion.

Black Idroglider® Stone Washed - the blade is covered with a blackened, non-reflective PTFE coating and has a Stone Washed finish that masks minor scratches.

Blade - massive, with a Drop Point profile. Smooth blade (Plain type) was made with flat cut (Flat Grind) provides excellent cutting edge geometry and cutting performance with low friction. On the back of the blade - upper jimping, long ribbed thumb rest. At the base of the blade was placed one-sided crossguard prevents the hand from sliding onto the blade.

Handle - profiled, covered with linings made of non-slip and waterproof micarta (canvas micarta) in OD Green color. A steel head with a gap (lanyard hole) for a lanyard or a security cord, can act as a hammer / glass breaker.

Sheath- extended, protects the blade along with part of the handle. Made of black leather with an embossed manufacturer's logo. Fastened with a Prym type latch. Attached to a belt or equipment, it allows you to carry the knife in a vertical or horizontal position.
