Muela BW-18 PakkaWood Knife, Satin X50CrMoV15

BW-18 is a fixed-blade knife made from molybdenum-vanadium (MoVa) steel. Designed as a reliable tool for various outdoor applications, it is compact and lightweight, making it convenient and easy to carry. Targeted toward survival, outdoor, and hunting enthusiasts.

X50CrMoV15 (1.4116) - a high-carbon, molybdenum-vanadium martensitic stainless steel, highly resistant to corrosion and wear. Used in the manufacture of knives, high-end cutlery and surgical instruments. It is characterized by a fairly high, for stainless steels, hardness of 57-58 HRC. The chemical composition of the steel is enriched with an admixture of 15.0% Chromium, 0.80% Molybdenum, 0.20% Vanadium.

Blade - Bowie profile, coated with a non-reflective Satin Finish to reduce glare. Smooth Plain edge with a Hollow Grind. A brass double guard at the base of the blade prevents the hand from slipping onto the edge, providing secure thumb support.

Handle - finished with brass head. Scales with a unique pattern, made from synthetic coral Pakka wood (colorwood), a wood composite infused with phenolic resin. Beveled edges on the scales remove sharp edges for a comfortable grip, providing excellent control over the knife.

Sheath - secured with a snap closure. Made from natural brown leather with an embossed manufacturer’s logo. The sheath is stitched along the edges with decorative thread. Belt or gear attachment allows for vertical knife carry.
