3Cr13MoV - abbreviated name (3Cr13). Martensitic tool steel stainless. High content 13.0% chromium (Cr) and average 0.35% carbon (C) provide high corrosion resistance, and the addition of manganese alloying elements 1.0% (Mn), silicon 1.0% (Si) and nickel 0.6% (Ni) increase the strength and hardness of steel. Hardness 3Cr13 is 54 HRC and can range from 52-55 HRC depending on the manufacturer. Easy to sharpen, widely used in the manufacture of knives, scissors and medical equipment.
Head - modified type clip point with a wave-shaped cutting edge Recurve, used in tactical, survival knives providing above-average cutting properties. Kthe linga is finished with a matte sandblasted coating Bead Blasted. The small thickness of the blade combined with the concave grind (Hollow Grind) gives excellent cutting properties combined with high strength. Back of the wedge upper jimping is covered with notches which are comfortable support under the thumb. Solid blockade liner lock.
Handle - blue and silver textured, non-slip facings with anodized aluminum with eye-catching contrasting design. Open design tzw. open-backed without the usual backspacer, fastened together with steel spacer sleeves for easy cleaning in the field. Metal clip (right-hand) allows the knife to be carried in the position tip-down (with the tip of the blade downward).
