Ontos Black No Kit, demand from professionals prompted Extrema Ratio to design a versatile survival tool that works in all conditions. The Ontos <the thing in Greek> is a pure field knife, strong and heavy despite its compact size. The serrated back of the blade serves as a backup (back-up) so you'll never be caught without a sharp edge ready to use.

Extremely durable, versatile knife with a head that can withstand 150kg bending loads without fear of breaking. Easy-to-sharpen tanto shape maintains a sharp cutting edge and penetration ability regardless of wear. With its weight and balance on the blade, the Ontos Black is an excellent knife for battlefield use and is suitable for heavy field work. Solid handle, easy to replace in case of damage.

N690 - corrosion-resistant, high-carbon 1.07% (C), martensitic chromium steel 17.30% (Cr) with molybdenum 1.10% (Mo), vanadium 0.10% (V) and cobalt 1.50% (Co) for structural uniformity. Features exceptionally high corrosion resistance and long edge retention. One of the best tool steels in the world today. It achieves a hardness of 57-60 HRC. Manufactured by Böhler Edelstahl in Kapfenberg, Austria.

Blade - modified Tanto, with a thickness of 6.3 mm. Blade is coated with matte non-reflective black coating. The blade is plain with Flat grind. On the back of the blade there is a short section of serrated edge, perfect for cutting rope or plastic. Serrated Edge used in tactical, survival and rescue knives. Consists of alternating one large and two small teeth, this pattern increases the length of the cutting edge by up to 24% compared to a straight blade. Ideal for cutting hard materials, plastics and fibers.

Handle - full size FH (Full Handle) type used in assault knives Extrema Ratio. Anti-slip linings with rubber-like properties, made of Forprene thermoplastic elastomer (elastic return, softness, resistance to chemicals), guarantee a firm grip also when wet hands. Sheath - black abrasion resistant waterproof nylon thigh-high sheath with M.O.L.L.E. system webbing attachment. (Modular Lightweight Load-carrying Equipment). Holster allows you to carry the knife on your belt or vest compatible with MOLLE system. Lower part of the scabbard with Velcro strap for attachment to the thigh.
