D2 - a blade made of high carbon tool steel. With a high 10-13% chromium content, it offers greater corrosion resistance than most high carbon steels. Combines strength, excellent edge retention and easy sharpening. Features high hardness in the 59-61 HRC range and abrasion resistance.

Blade - satin finish, clip point type. The generous belly extends the length of the cutting edge in relation to the length of the blade, converging toward a needle-sharp tip. The high, concave Hollow Grind provides powerful slicing performance while the aggressively hollowed clip point is suitable for piercing and precision work. Ceramic ball bearings assist in opening the blade with a thumb cutout or quick flipper flipper (index-finger flipper). Finger choil, index-finger notch facilitates use during precision tasks. All locked with proven liner lock.

Handle - milled G10 plastic covered with imitation bolster and deep textured facings for comfort grip and appearance, attached to stainless steel liners. Simple, solid construction gives assurance of many years of use. Backspacer and handle covers of green G10 plastic. Pivot axis with stylized Civivi brand logo. Two-position metal left/right deep carry clip allows you to carry the knife discreetly in your pocket in tip-up position. Exposed liners on head with enlarged hole for lanyard attachment.

Carrying case - soft, zippered nylon case with manufacturer's logo for safe storage and transportation of the folder.
