The tanto tang extends the length of the cutting edge in relation to the length of the blade, converging towards a needle-sharp tip of the knife. Thickness of blade provides high strength while high, flat grind guarantees excellent cutting properties. Ceramic ball bearings provide smooth and seamless operation of the blade ejection mechanism. The flipper blade has been slimmed so that it does not stick out sharply above the line of the handle. After opening it creates a mini-guard preventing the hand from slipping on the blade.
