Nitro-V chrome-based martensitic stainless knife steel introduced by New Jersey Steel Baron (NJSB). The manufacturer used the existing superior AEB-L knife steel and upgraded it with nitrogen and vanadium to improve edge performance and achieve high hardness and extreme corrosion resistance, especially critical in the marine industry and humid environments. Nitro V can be used in diving knives because of its stain and corrosion resistance. The recommended working hardness is between 58-62HRC, and it has very good impact strength compared to other steels. It is harder than stainless powder steels such as M390, Elmax and S35VN. Therefore, Nitro-V will be a good fit for knives that require good strength.

Blade - Slender Drop Point type with Stonewashed finish. The small thickness of the blade combined with the high, flat grind gives an excellent cutting edge geometry and extreme cutting performance. Ceramic ball bearings aid in the smooth operation of the opening mechanism of the blade, which can be opened with a front flipper so it can be easily used by both right and left-handed people. You can also use the double-sided peg in the wedge to open it. On the back of the upper jimping wedge, a notched thumb rest. The whole is locked with a solid liner lock.

Handle - light color made of G10, fiberglass pressed under pressure with resin. Chamfered edges of the cover eliminate sharp edges for comfort, and jimping made on the front on the liners improves grip security. Backspacer made of the same material as the liners. The pivot is decorated with a stylized Civivi brand logo. Two-position, right/left deep carry clip allows you to carry the knife discreetly in your pocket in tip-up position. Backspacer provides a place to attach a safety or decorative cord.
