AUS-10 steel - Japanese stainless steel, often compared to 440C series, and for good reason, as the compositions are similar, but these minor differences make AUS-10 harder (hardened usually around 60 HRC) and dulls more slowly, without losing rust resistance. Knives made of this steel are relatively inexpensive and will be a great choice if our budget is not too high and we care about stainless.
Blade - drop point type, finished with a scratch-masking and glare-preventing Dark Stonewashed finish. The long, slender cutting edge converges towards the needle-sharp tip of the knife. The thickness of the blade provides high strength while the high, flat grind guarantees excellent cutting properties. Ceramic ball bearings are responsible for the smooth and smooth operation of the blade advancement mechanism. The flipper fin, when opened, forms a mini-guard preventing the hand from slipping on the blade. The knife can also be opened with the help of a hole milled in the wedge. On the back of the upper jimping wedge, a notched thumb rest. Liner-Lock mechanism.
Handle - green G10 (pressure-pressed fiberglass with synthetic resin) facings,textured to improve grip security, bolted to the knife's steel frame. The whole bolted to a solid backspacer, also made of G10. The simple, sturdy design gives you the assurance of many years of use. A deep finger undercut (fore finger groove) improves grip confidence. The pivot axis is decorated with a stylized manufacturer's logo.
