Design by Fabrizio Silvestrelli fruit of a collaboration with the esteemed Italian knifemaker, president of Corporazione Italiana Coltellinai (CIC), the Italian knife guild. His designs are characterized by the rounded shapes of the liners, bolsters and handles. Designed by Fabrizio Silvestrelli, the Viper Start exudes Italian style and solid construction. Equipped with a newly developed Advanced Back Lock mechanism using two springs instead of one.

N690 - corrosion-resistant, high-carbon 1.07% (C), martensitic chromium steel 17.30% (Cr) with molybdenum 1.10% (Mo), vanadium 0.10% (V) and cobalt 1.50% (Co) for structural uniformity. Features exceptionally high corrosion resistance and long edge retention. One of the best tool steels in the world today. It achieves a hardness of 57-60 HRC. Manufactured by Böhler Edelstahl in Kapfenberg, Austria.

Blade - Spear Point type with a clearly marked belly, finished with a scratch-masking Stonewashed method. The small thickness of the blade combined with a high, flat grind, which provides strength, excellent cutting edge geometry and extreme cutting performance. Shims are responsible for the smooth and smooth operation of the blade's opening mechanism, which can be opened with a double-sided peg (Thumb Stud) making it easy for both right and left-handed people to open the blade with one hand. Notched supports: a thumb ramp on the back of the blade (spine jimping) and (finger choil), an undercut for the index finger make it easier to control the knife.

Handle - made of Canvas Micarta (pressure-pressed canvas with synthetic resin). Bolted to a steel frame, which means the practical indestructibility of such a design. The rounded shape of the facings and backspacer eliminates any sharp edges. The use of CNC machine tools in the production process of the covers guarantees the maintenance of high quality of the manufactured elements.
